01 · What this covers
This policy covers the Moonscribe website and the Moonscribe waitlist. When the Moonscribe app launches, it will come with its own privacy information.
02 · What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect what you choose to give us:
- Your email address and whether you join as a reader, a writer or both.
- Your full name, phone number and age range.
- Readers: the genres you love, how you like to enjoy stories and how often you read.
- Writers: the genres you write, your writing experience and, if you add one, a link to your work.
- How you heard about Moonscribe (optional), which part of the site you signed up from, and when you agreed to be contacted.
We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
03 · Why we collect it
- To contact you by email or phone about Moonscribe’s launch, as you agreed when you joined.
- To understand who is waiting for Moonscribe, so we can decide which stories and features to prioritise.
- To prevent spam and duplicate sign-ups.
04 · Who can see it
Only the Moonscribe team. Your details are stored with our database provider, Supabase, in a table that cannot be read through the website. We do not sell your details or share them with advertisers.
05 · How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until Moonscribe launches and we no longer need them, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
06 · Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details you gave us at any time. Contact us at our contact page and we will take care of it. You can also join the waitlist again with the same email to update your answers.
07 · Children
The waitlist is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not join.
08 · Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
